What can the treatments involve?
The effectiveness and scientific evidence of acupuncture is forever growing on a wide range of health issues. It has been refined and practised for over 2500 years (since the Jin Dynasty began) and has been shown to be very effective and successful in the treatment of wide range of conditions.
Acupuncture acts on restoring subtle imbalances on the meridian pathways (or organ pathways) which has caused the flow of ‘qi’ energy to become reduced.
This is achieved via a very fine needle being inserted on a specific point along the meridian pathway. This causes “qi’ energy flow to become stimulated and increased which in turn restores health.
Acupuncture may assist in helping a wide range of conditions such as chronic back pain and injuries, frozen shoulder, headaches and migraines including morning sickness and relaxation.
Kinesiology or Muscle Testing
In the 1930’s Kinesiology began by Terrence Bennett a doctor of chiropractic. Doctor Bennett believed that the flow of blood to specific organs increased and bodily functions improved when touching various points on a patients body. (Applied Kinesiology a training manual and reference book of basic, Robert Frost, p9).
Then in 1964 Kinesiology began to become popular and took off and Applied Kinesiology was further developed by George Goodheart doctor of chiropractic.
“Goodheart observed identical organ or gland problems in various patients who had the same muscle weakness. He then began to make a list associating specific muscles with specific organs and glands.” (Applied Kinesiology, Robert Frost, pg9)
Kinesiology is like a jigsaw puzzle each piece connects to another and there are no quick fixes to maintain the health and wellbeing to your whole body from a holistic point view. “Everything affects everything else” (Your body can talk, Susan l. Levy, D.C. and Carol Lehr, M.A., p9)
It does not hurt to explore alternative medicine. Why just treat the symptoms rather than the cause of the problem.
The practice of Kinesiology detects unbalanced organs and physiological stress through the detection of weakness of a particular muscle.
From a holistic point of view which differs greatly from modern medicine it is believed that piece of the puzzle can not be simply extracted and discarded without any issues.
So if you are not happy with the modern medicine drug approach why not explore natural holistic medicine. Get to the root of the problem rather than masking it. It may take longer to alleviate the symptoms of discomfort but you will get to the root of the problem.
